The Nerd Table Gazette: Week Four

Expanding new horizons, defeating great giants, and the building up and tearing down of farms. It's time for our weekly recap of TNTable!

This week saw a slow down in planting new roots but an uptick in planting stronger roots for future projects. Elsewhere, the end dimension was unlocked with a scheduled and triumphant ender dragon fight conducted by the player base, allowing for new adventures of plunder in the end dimension to begin!

Highlights:

• The grand Ender Dragon Fight finally took place Trident Trial Monument Raid went underway on the Sunday, August 25th, 2024, at 9:10 PM EST, where Matt, Peanut, Dayache, Blackout, and Cam from Red Team squared off against the monarch of the end dimension, where outside of one fall damage death, ended as a flawless victory, with Cam landing the final arrow shot on the dragon. In addition to the main-spawned egg taken by Cam, plugins also spawned an itemized egg for collection, which was taken by Blackout.
• Following the ender dragon fight, an enderman farm was set up by Blackout off the coast of the main end island. It has already seen significant use and has reduced strain put on Red Team's XP Farm, which has seen storage over capacity in recent days.
• Later into the week, a gold farm was set up by Cam and Matt, with Cam setting up the zombified piglin contraption, and Matt building supplementary farm-styled designs around it.

Player Developments:

• Blackout took considerable time and a few risky deaths in establishing the Enderman Farm for the server, which has received considerable praise (and thanks). He also took part in the Ender Dragon fight.
• David continued work on the Megaussy Manor, as well as establishing a Cactus Farm for the city.
• Dayache and Peanut continued work on their area, building two new buildings for their shared area, as well as a stylized creeper-head nether portal for themselves. They also took part in the Ender Dragon fight.
• Matt underwent a complete overhaul of the Megaussy's Sugar Cane farm, improving its drop rate with a minecart mechanism over a water collection one. He also began work on a central park to the city with a dragon fountain as a centerpiece, as well as the gold farm established with Cam. Additionally, he took part in the Ender Dragon fight, and acquired the 'Earth Excavator' advancement for 75k stone / 50k deepslate.
• Michael continued work on his Nagasaki Castle reproduction project, slowly but surely nearing its exterior's completion.
• The members of Red Team continued building their mega-conglomerated area, working to create many additional farms (nether wart, sheep, kelp). They also continued work on Crackdonalds HQ, adding helipad accessibility to its roof. They also plan to construct a Creeper Farm over the next week. Red Team member Cam also spearheaded the creation of a gold farm on the server with Matt.
